Controls

Drag back from the ball to set power, angle the drag to aim, release to putt.

How to play

  1. The ball breaks most when it slows down — aim well above the hole on side slopes.
  2. Softer putts that die at the cup catch more break; hard putts resist it.
  3. Watch the slope shading: darker areas slope toward the lighter side being uphill.
  4. On double-break greens, aim for the slope's midpoint rather than the cup.
  5. Sand kills roll speed — if the cup sits beyond a bunker, add pace.

About this game

Golf Putt strips golf down to its most psychological stroke: the putt. Eighteen hand-designed miniature greens await, each a puzzle of slopes, plateaus and ridges that bend the ball’s path in ways you must read before you swing. The ball rolls with real deceleration physics, so pace is half the game — a putt hit perfectly on line but too firm will lip out and roll away.

Every green displays subtle slope shading that rewards careful reading. The trick the game teaches, like real golf, is that the ball breaks most in the last third of its roll when it has slowed down — so the smart play aims further above the hole than instinct suggests. Wind occasionally adds a horizontal drift on exposed holes, and sand traps near the cup sap power from anything that rolls through them.

The course escalates intelligently: the front nine teach fundamentals on gentle slopes, while the back nine introduces double-breaking greens, raised plateaus and one notorious island hole where the penalty for pace is the water. Scoring follows real golf conventions — birdies, pars, bogeys — with your best total stored locally and per-hole statistics shown at the round’s end.

Putting in is one drag: pull back for power, aim with angle, release. A guiding dotted line previews the initial direction only, never the break — reading that is your job. A full round takes ten minutes, which makes it the perfect coffee-break sport.

Frequently asked questions

How many holes are there?

Eighteen, split into a gentle front nine and a much tougher back nine with double breaks and hazards.

Does the aiming line show the break?

No — it shows only the initial direction. Reading the slope is the entire skill of the game.

How is scoring handled?

Real golf terms: your strokes per hole are compared to par, with birdies and eagles highlighted in the summary.

Is my best round saved?

Yes, your best total and best individual hole scores are stored locally.
