How to play

  1. Watch the block complete one full pass before your first drop — learn its rhythm.
  2. Aim for flush landings; only exact matches preserve your tower width.
  3. As blocks shrink, aim for the centre of what remains.
  4. Speed rises every five storeys, so tighten your timing late.
  5. A perfect drop keeps the block the same size — chain them for tall towers.

About this game

Stack Tower is one pure idea executed with real tension. A coloured block slides across the screen above your growing tower; tap at the right moment and it lands flush, widening your foundation of pride. Tap late or early and the overhang shears off and tumbles away, leaving a narrower platform — and a harder target — for the next block.

Perfect landings are the entire economy of the game. Land a block flush and nothing is lost, but the reward for perfection is subtler than a bonus: your tower simply stays as wide as it was. Miss by a lot and the game ends fast; miss by a little and you enter the slow squeeze where every remaining block is smaller than the last. The tension curve is beautifully self-made.

Scoring is the tower height in blocks, and your record is kept on the device. Blocks speed up gradually every five storeys, and the colour cycle shifts with each layer, which makes tall towers genuinely lovely to look at — half the fun of a forty-storey run is scrolling back down through the rainbow you built.

The tap control works with mouse, finger or spacebar, so it plays identically on a phone during a queue and on a desktop between meetings. One run takes under a minute until you get good; then it takes just long enough to make you late.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a perfect drop?

Landing within a very small tolerance of the block below. Perfect drops keep the full block width instead of slicing it.

Why did my block get smaller?

Only the overlapping part of the block lands. Whatever hung over the edge shears off and falls away.

Does the block speed up?

Yes, slightly every five storeys. The rhythm shift is subtle but very real by storey twenty.

Can the tower get wider again?

No, which is the point. Protecting your width is the whole strategy.
